Mark Millar and John Romita Jr turn Wolverine into public enemy number one. The deadly Canadian is transformed into a living weapon by the Hand and Hydra who pit him against the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Captain America and even his closest friends, the X-Men. In a world without Avengers, how will the heroes deal with an unstoppable killer they used to call their friend?
Major Crossover: The main story runs through twelve issues of Wolverine which can be read without additional issues; aside from more officially-acknowledged tie-ins, a number of other stories relate to the events of ‘Enemy of the State’ though none are considered essential reading; the sheer number of issues involved elevates this even to a major crossover.
