
When the Hulk finally found happiness it was on an alien world, of all places. But fate conspired against him and an explosion in Sakaar‘s main city took the life of his wife and unborn child (during PLANET HULK). When he left Sakaar, seeking revenge against the Illuminati (during WORLD WAR HULK) he didn’t know his son had been ‘born’ and kept alive by the ambiguous Old Power from the spirit of his beloved Caiera.
But the Hulk’s son, Skaar, was a creature of pure rage and hate thanks to a life of pain on Sakaar and he soon found himself expelled from hios home world by his own mother (during SON OF HULK) and sent through a portal to Earth…

| Son of Hulk #13 Axeman Bone and Princess Omaka lead escapees from Sakaar aboard a Stone Ship while Galactus consumes the planet and the Old Power. Bone’s daughter Lihla offers companionship to the former-slave Hiro-Kala who is secretly using the Old Power to fly the ship. The addicted Galactus begins consuming other worlds seeded with the Old Power. Hiro-Kala uses the Old Power to fly to Galactus and warn him that he will have his revenge for the loss of his world and reveals himself to be another son of the Hulk and Caiera. Hiro-Kala returns to the stone ship where Old Sam announces him as the ‘Sakaarson’. Having won the loyalty of the crew, Hiro-Kala flies the stone ship to Giausar, a world rich in Old Power where an uneasy peace has somehow held fast for centuries.
