While we were used to reading the words “leave Hulk alone” for many decades, the Green Goliath’s world would begin to widen over 2005 to 2007. Sure, we’d already had a She-Hulk since 1980, but she’d be more closely associated with the Avengers and Fantastic Four following her inception. That would begin to change in the 2000s when (spoilers!) the Illuminati see fit to blast the Hulk into space and She-Hulk would be the one to discover the truth.
In addition, it would be alluded to that a new character called the Scorpion could be Bruce Banner‘s daughter. But it’s his trip to the planet Sakaar that sows the seeds (intend that pun) for the Hulk’s offspring. While we won’t see this start to come to fruition until 2008, stories released in the previous three years that really put a ‘Hulk Family’ in motion.
So strap in as the Hulk gene pool threatens to explode like a gamma bomb as we take you though PLANET HULK and wrap up with WORLD WAR HULK, with every other Hulk, She-Hulk, Scorpion and, yes, even Amadeus Cho appearance in-between! If you’re looking for the Red Hulk, Skaar and others, they’ll be here in the next instalment, HULK FAMILY, 2008-2010: Green Hulks vs Red Hulks.
Must Reads: Story arcs marked with a ✔ are must-read stories from this time period, along with any key related stories and often-forgotten tales that are worth a read.

Fall of the Hulks: Avoid reading the pages from Fall of the Hulks: Alpha which are listed in this reading order, unless you’e already read that event as it contains spoilers.
