The genetically-enhanced Thundra hailed from an alternate future where women reigned supreme and births took place in a laboratory. Despite being the champion of Earth-712, Thundra knew she wouldn’t be around forever and travelled back in time to take a cell sample from the Hulk in order to spawn a worthy heir.
In another diverging timeline – Earth-8009 – Thundra’s daughter, Lyra, fights alongside the United Sisterhood Republic. Despite her superior power, she’s seen as inferior because she’s the offspring of the Hulk – a male. Despite this, she’s willing to risk her life to save the Sisterhood when she learns the birthing process has become defective and the female species is under threat…

| Must Reads | Title, Issue & Synopsis |
| ✔ | All-New Savage She-Hulk #1 On Earth-8009, Gynosure of the United Sisterhood Republic offers Lyra the chance to save her species, sending her back in time to Earth-616. Her arrival is intercepted by Charles Little Sky of Alternate Reality Monitoring & Operational Response (ARMOR) who can only watch as his forces are taken down with ease, despite his hope that he can deal with the situation before Norman Osborn becomes involved. Lyra takes agent Alex Erde with her as she bounds through Manhattan in her search for the greatest hero of the era, only to be blocked by Jennifer Walters… the She-Hulk. |
| ✔ | All-New Savage She-Hulk #2 Back in her own time, Lyra visited an outlet where consumers used to buy their superpowers. She questioned her mission to steal the tech from the men’s cradle – ending their ability to create young – in favour of using it for the female cradles, only for Nella of the Sisterhood to learn of her ‘treacherous’ thoughts. In the present, when She-Hulk picks up on the similarity between Lyra’s outfit and Thundra‘s look, she loses her temper and retaliates. She’s warned by her AI wrist bracelet advisor Boudicca that getting angry makes her weaker. Their battle tears up Manhattan until the Sentry arrives and throws She-Hulk for miles. Sentry explains that he must be the one Lyra’s searching for. But she reveals Norman Osborn is considered the greatest hero of the era… just as the Dark Avengers arrive! |
| ✔ | All-New Savage She-Hulk #3 [1/2] In the alternate future of Earth-8009, super-human powers became commodities for sale. The superhuman race spread across the galaxy and made the Kree, Badoon, Shi’ar and Skrulls a part of Earth’s intergalactic empire. Eventually, a war broke out between all the powered humans and society broke down. Before her arrival in the present, Lyra killed Nella in self-defence; a fight which also destroyed the chip needed for the cradles. Lyra was ejected the female society. She decided to go back in time and obtain replacement technology. In the present, Captain Marvel (Noh-Varr) takes down Lyra. Back at Avengers Tower, she breaks free of her bonds and makes it clear she’s not here to kill Osborn. She’s here to mate with him. Outside, She-Hulk punches out Sentry… |

Boudicca sends the location of the missing chip into the timestream to save the population of Earth-8009, while Lyra decides there’s no reason to return. Charles Little Sky threatens to share the information Boudicca downloaded from Norman Osborn’s files, encouraging Osborn to back off and winning Lyra’s favour. She agrees to work for ARMOR.
