The Spot Reading Order: Jonathon Ohnn (1984-present)

When the Kingpin tasks scientist Dr Johnathon Ohnn with emulating Cloak‘s powers, he gains the ability to tap into the Spotted Dimension and use wormholes as weapons. As the Spot, Ohnn’s criminal career is sporadic, with the character veering from laughing stock to homicidal nightmare.

Spot cameo; Spot and the Nega-Man are kidnapped by the Gideon Trust who use their powers to gain access to the Negative Zone.

The Spot ends up sharing a cell with Tombstone who coerces him into helping him escape prison; Tombstone ‘rewards’ Spot by breaking his neck.
Wolverine #26-27 (2005)
Spot cameo; having survived his encounter with Tombstone, Spot is one of the villains killed by Elektra and resurrected as agents of the Hand & Hydra for an attack on SHIELD’s Helicarrier.

Amazing Spider-Man #589 (2009)
Having been driven insane in the Spotted Dimension, the Spot focuses on reuniting with his son Wyatt Ohnn in order to return to Earth; the Spot discovers his son has been left comatose following a botch drive-by carried out by a Russian gang; Spider-Man steps in when Spot tries to kill mob boss Dmitri Ivankov.
