Matt Murdock‘s life as the costumed crime-fighter Daredevil begins to spiral as his college sweetheart, Elektra Natchios, returns to his life as a ninja assassin! Writer/artist Frank Miller completely redefines the hero’s role in the Marvel Universe in the classic ‘Elektra Saga’, making Bullseye a worthy adversary, crowning the Kingpin as Daredevil’s ultimate nemesis and introducing the ninja clan known as the Hand. Miller would leave an indellible mark on Matt Murdock, making noir tragedy a key factor in his street-level adventures.
David Mazzucchelli would join the title as artist long after Frank Miller left, but would remain on the title for what may be considered the greatest DD story of all time when he’s joined by Miller for the renowned ‘Born Again’ storyline that would truly tear Matt’s life apart but highlight why Daredevil’s known as the Man Without Fear!
