DC Comics were playing catch-up when it came to omnibus collections since the (chunky hardcover) format became popular, until last year when they began regaling us with a veritable onslaught of books compiling runs we’d been loudly clamouring for, for so long. It’s almost reached a stage where the big stuff has largely been covered! But fret ye not… the Omniverse Comics Guide guys still have books on their list they’d like to see all spined up and sitting snugly on their shelves!
If that wasn’t enough, DC have seen the value of collecting certain runs in compendium (chunky paperback) format. And hey! We’re happy with either!
So strap in as they boys offer up our list of ten omnis/compendiums they’d like to see. Aside from some guaranteed-sellers, including eras of Batman and Superman, they’ve also got some leftfield offerings you may not have considered! Not into collected editions? Then treat this as a list of single issues that may be worth adding to your collection!
