To mark the 40th anniversary of Marvel Comics’ original SECRET WARS event, Eric takes some time with series writer Jim Shooter who was also Editor-in-Chief of Marvel at that time. Considered to be one the greatest eras in the company’s history, Jim changed the company’s course and turned a struggling publisher back into a House of Ideas!

Jim generously shares his stories of his beginnings as prodigious writer on Legion of Super-Heroes at a very young age over at DC Comics, how he landed the top role at Marvel, tooted out corruption and brought in some of the top talent such as Frank Miller, John Byrne, Walter Simonson, Ann Nocenti and more. And if that wasn’t enough, he sets the record straight on how SECRET WARS came to be, the origin of Epic Comics and answers some viewer questions!
